Steel frame erected at Dorothy Goodman Special School

March 2018

The photo shows the ongoing progression of the new school building at Dorothy Goodman School in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

The photo is a high level view across one of the classrooms. The building has a robust steel and masonry frame and it features exposed roof panels and a standing seam aluminium roof system.  Grayling Thomas have utilised this system on school projects previously and this enables the speedy erection of the main structure, to accelerate the programme of works, whilst forming an internal acoustic ceiling for the completed building.
