Feasibility Studies

Grayling Education Surveys have worked closely with schools during the last 10 years on a range of Feasibility Studies which are used to detail potential developments within School sites.  Typically a Feasibility Study will look at all of the available options for a school site and provide detailed costings towards each option, this gives the school a “shopping list” of items for further detailed consideration.

The Feasibility can then form part of a wider school masterplan which is often phased, with individual projects being allocated different funding sources.  This enables Business Managers and Headteachers to strategically assess individual projects and the impact that they will have on the school during the course of a set period.  Our highly experienced Architects and Surveyors can advise on the best phasing strategies with the least disruption to the school, as this is a key factor in not impacting on pupil’s performance during any construction works.  We are highly experienced in working on live school sites to minimise disruption to pupils and staff.
