Grayling Thomas Architects have been designing Education buildings for the last 16 years and have over 23 years experience in the construction industry.  Our team of RIBA qualified Chartered Architects are able to meet with Business Managers and Headteachers in order to determine the Project Brief requirements and following this we can prepare feasibility studies, sketch proposals etc. 

We are adept at maximising the most value for a school out of limited budgets.

We can assist schools directly with detailed proposed layouts and these can be used for feasibility and planning applications etc.  Our work also includes Building Regulation submissions and the preparation of detailed documents to Builders.

We regularly advise on the appointment of Builders and part of our service is Contract Administration from the beginning of the project through to the handover stages, working closely with Headteachers and Business Managers through the duration of the project (RIBA Stages 0-7)

We see one of our key roles as taking the pressure off Headteachers and Business Managers in the delivery of successful projects on time and to strict budgets.  We have a huge amount of experience in working with schools to this brief.
