The Hive serves as a dynamic activity space for 30 pupils, primarily supporting After School and Forest School programs. This innovative project allows students to engage in a variety of hands-on learning experiences that extend beyond the traditional classroom setting.

We were thrilled to be commissioned for The Hive, having previously designed the new two-form entry (2FE) primary school at All Saints eight years ago. Building on the success of our past collaboration, we seamlessly integrated the same material palette into the new building, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic and maintaining a strong visual and functional connection with the existing school infrastructure.

The Hive's design emphasises flexibility and adaptability, providing a versatile environment that can accommodate a wide range of activities. The use of natural materials complements the surrounding landscape, promoting a sense of harmony between the built environment and nature.

Our continued partnership with All Saints underscores our commitment to creating engaging and sustainable learning environments that cater to the evolving needs of students and educators alike. The Hive stands as a testament to our dedication to thoughtful design and our ability to deliver projects that resonate with the communities they serve.
