Grayling Thomas Architects are proud to have obtained planning permission for the transformation of a 1960s bungalow into a stunning Cotswold stone house. The project involved overcladding the existing structure with Cotswold stone and adding a second floor, resulting in an impressive five-bedroom property with expansive views of the Cotswold hills.

A key feature of the design is the new oak-framed, fully glazed entrance, which creates a striking double-height space and leads into the open-plan kitchen and dining area on the ground floor. The upper floor houses the bedrooms, all designed to maximize natural light and the picturesque surroundings.

In addition to the main house, the project included the conversion of outbuildings to provide garaging, additional accommodation, and a gym. These converted spaces enhance the functionality of the property while maintaining its aesthetic coherence.
